1. Account Security and Verification
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all transactional activities occurring under your profile.
2. Escrow and Payment Protection (Buyers)
When approving a work order, funds are deposited and securely held by our third-party payment gateway (Paystack). Funds will only be authorized and released to the Pro's wallet once you explicitly mark the milestone or work order as "Completed" via the platform interface.
3. Fees and Direct Wallet Withdrawals (Pros)
Pros may initiate withdrawals from their verified Skillforce wallet balance directly to their designated bank accounts using our integration partners. Please note that all transactions are processed exclusive of standard payment gateway processing fees and platform administrative cuts, which are transparently calculated at the point of checkout or disbursement.
4. Dispute Resolution and Mediation
Declining a milestone payment transitions the underlying work order into a formal "Dispute Status." Both parties agree to pause fund routing and cooperate transparently with the Skillforce administrative team during mediation to achieve an equitable contractual settlement or arbitration outcome.
5. Independent Contractor Relationship
Skillforce acts strictly as a secure connection and escrow management infrastructure provider. No employer-employee, agency, or joint venture relationship is established between any user and Skillforce by using this system.
